What Personalities make up a PF Blogger

 Have you ever wondered what personality traits make up personal finance bloggers? Well I will mention 4 below and maybe you can let me know if you feel the same or if you have other traits I didn’t mention that you want to share with all of us. See below for the traits I have uncovered in the personal finance world.

Nerdy
We all have to be a little nerdy to be a PF Blogger because all the spreadsheets, numbers and financial concepts we have to know. I know some of you might think to be a nerd has a misconception behind it, but for real all the nerdy kids grow up to be the ones that make the most money either from IT or some other ridiculously paid job. I rather have a little bit of financial nerdy as a trait and make that money at the end of the day. So do you think you have this personality?

Outgoing
All those twitter fans didn’t magically appear, no they were formed by hundreds of hours socializing in some way either at social events but most likely on twitter itself. I think this trait is very important and only a few bloggers really let it shine in their writing by expressing all the things they do presently or in the good ol’ days with social media. Those that really have tons of followers will be the ones who are very outgoing and promote their site every chance they get or have an army of IT people magically plugging in fake followers for them. LOL. Either way I think I have to improve my outgoing skill set and kill it on twitter in the future.

Reserved
Hey this word has been used many times by me as a way to describe myself or as a way to compare myself to somebody else. (Don’t ask me why) Typing in front of a computer for hours writing and commenting on others people’s posts can actually nominate you for this characteristic. A person that is very talkative, hates to be reserved because it is not a part of their personality. Thus they will not stay still on a computer for that long, unless they are in chat rooms talking aka typing once again.

Popular / Arrogant
You know this type of PF Blogger. It is the one who just happens to get a ton of comments and page views just for being well liked for whatever reason that may be. Also this blogger rarely will make a comment on other PF sites because it is beneath them to do so or they are so busy building a massive empire. They will pop in on a random site from time to time so nobody catches up with their arrogant personality. Hey some of you arrogant bloggers show some support from time to time.

I guess I am speaking from my point of view and also from what I have seen so far in the blogging world the last past year. I enjoyed writing this because it made me focus on my personality and how it jives with others on the blogosphere commenting scene.
