The synergies I use in my life can make anyone feel like they are the smartest person in the world. It will appear as if you’re a multitasking freak, who actually invented the word productivity because you’re so efficient. Now you may be wondering what the heck am I talking about? If you use synergies in life I believe it will make things easier for you in general. The reason I use the best synergy tactics is because I want to save time, feel productive, and get sh!t done off my long checklist.
Strategic synergies are very fulfilling to me, and if done daily it will supercharge your day towards getting tasks completed. I enjoy it when things get done and I am able to check off a goal.
I want to discuss the time I hustled my way into the best deal purchased. It happened recently and I’ve been meaning to share it with all of you. There’s so many ways people can spend money and we all do, but how many times can you share how much money you saved during a purchase?
This deal was so good, that I had to write about the best consumer deal ever. Yes I spent money, but when you break it down, I saved a lot off the total retail price for the goods. It is amazing how much you can knock off with a little effort and planning. I will admit that I priced shopped for these products for a few weeks, and when I saw the deal I jumped on it real quick.
Happy New Year! Hello friends if you are reading this you will soon learn of all the milestones achieved in 2014. I want to do this every New Year as a way to remember what I accomplished and as a way to help me set up my new goals going forward. I hope you succeeded in completing a few goals of your own this year.
Now this is not a post to brag, but a way to recognize that I am finally keeping track of finances and that just transforms me to keep superseding previous goals. I want to give you a few milestones relating to several topics, but the majority will be related to personal finance or money management, as this is in line with the subject matter of this blog.
What are the best things that make us happy? A simple question that many can answer, if they can take a brief moment to think for a second about what are the magical things that make us happy. If you can think back to your younger days were you happier then or now? Can you define happiness? Not the past or the future but the present happiness that is engulfing your life. LOL.
I’ve noticed a big movement on the finding happiness bandwagon from blogs, documentaries, and now a movie is about to be released based on this subject. (Just saw the trailer last weekend) At the core of the topic many people ask the question, what makes you happy? Do they want to know answers as it will solve a mystery based on this discussion, because everybody seems miserable? Maybe they are looking for a rabbit in a fox hole? Happiness is not something you can whip up and serve on a platter. It is a realization as to how you view life in the current state, with no past regrets and a sense of making the best of every situational moment going forward. This is happiness defined in my opinion. Now let’s discuss this topic further below and talk a bit about my personal happiness activities. The next few phrases I will express what makes me happy.
Ok now this is a serious milestone post as it is my 3 year blogoversary and I have published 300 posts as of today. I still cannot believe I have been blogging for 3 years now, and I prefer to not make a big deal out of anniversaries, but I couldn’t resist as the number 3 is my favorite number. I am happy about all the work I’ve put into my blog and it really has made me a better person. I enjoy sharing all the facts and knowledge I have learned regarding personal finance with all of the readers. I must say the accountability factor of having a blog is a hidden secret and one of the best moves I made to improve on my life.
Happy Saturday my friends. I cannot fathom that this series has grown to 5 posts. Because I struggle with over sharing and with every post that I do share on this topic I feel better about blogging. In the first few months of my blog I thought on one really cares about my story, but in reality people do really care. How do I know this? Because my about page is very popular and these posts have been popular as well. Well enough about why I’m doing this and let’s delve into the facts.
Happy 4th of July my friends! What will you do this fun weekend? Maybe you will hit the beach, go to a BBQ, or just hang out at the local park to watch some fire works? I hope to do at least 2 of the fun activities above this weekend. July is always a very busy and fun month, because of that July feels like it just flies by. Do you have a preferred spot to watch some cool fireworks? (Share it below) If I could say one thing it is listed below:
Happy Independence Day!
It takes great planning and effort to have great experiences, and July 4th has always been a very fun filled time for my family. I want to share a cool story with all of you today, about Two years ago on this day, I was driving my family to go see fireworks near the river. On route we had to change the plans because traffic was horrendous. Here in the North East it is a constant annoyance. I offered a suggestion to the Misses, that we stop and eat at a cool diner in the area, she agreed as it was a great idea given the situation. After we enjoyed the meal we begin to walk out of the diner, and guess what. Fireworks began to sound off right in front of the diner establishment. The kids all began to smile as they witness the sounds and colors of what July 4th symbolizes. It was a perfect ending to a great day. I hope to never forget these great experiences as it is what life is all about. I hope you can get out and enjoy the day as well with all your loved ones.
Do you have a fun story to share about Independence Day?
A new series is born today, with the premise that now I will let you in to see what were the last things that I spent a hundred dollars on. Imagine if you had only a hundred dollars to your name, what would you spend it on? The last hundred is a way to lighten up the financial blogosphere with something unique. Yeah I could give you a bunch of boring spreadsheets showing my monthly net worth, but that’s been done a thousand times over. Also part of me is still hesitant to fully reveal my financial numbers in all its lowly glory. What will this accomplish, maybe nothing. But it sure is exciting to see what people spend money on, don’t you think.
The summer is about two months away and I am getting prepared for it with some new apparel. See below for the last hundred dollars.
